As an adoptee therapist, I offer adoption counselling with a warm, relational approach, supporting adult adoptees across the UK. My work is grounded in trust, compassion, and attunement, creating space to explore adoption trauma, identity challenges, and self-worth.

We can work together in a way that feels right for you - open-ended or for an agreed period of time. Many people find weekly sessions helpful for building consistency, but we’ll decide together what works best.

At the heart of my approach is relationship. For many adoptees, difficulties with trust, belonging, or emotional connection come from early relational wounds. A safe, respectful connection between us can become the foundation for healing and growth.

 

I work collaboratively and at your pace. You’re free to bring whatever feels most pressing - past experiences, current struggles, or what’s happening in the moment. My role isn’t to give advice, but to be actively alongside you: asking questions, reflecting, and supporting you to notice and understand what emerges.

I usually work in a non-directive and trauma-informed way, so you’re free to bring whatever you need to our sessions. Together, we can explore the layers of your story and how they shape your present.
